Jesus Castaneda is no stranger to creating delicious cocktails. He has been bartending for 5 1/2 years. He originally started working for Jose the owner of Azul’s, at his Fresno restaurant, Chapala’s. Jose’s family has Azul’s on Demaree here in Visalia and also has Chapala’s on Akers & Goshen, Caldwell, and the Fresno location is on Friant & Fort Washington.

Jesus started working at Azul’s in October 2010 and he commutes from Fresno. He makes some amazing margaritas and his specialty drink is a Cherry Cosmo. This cocktail has a little “extra”something that makes it very tasty, not too sweet, it’s just the perfect balance for a cosmo! Another favorite is the House margarita at Azul’s. It’s delicious and made with coconut and black raspberry! Jesus says the best part about his job includes interacting with people, taking pride in his work, and getting to know his regular customers. He once worked in an Indian restaurant, where he says it is a very interesting and different culture.
I for one will be back for more “sampling” of these great cocktails!
