Congratulation’s to Beaux DeTroia at Café 225

Bartender of the Month!
Beaux got into the bartending business because it runs in the family.  His father is known as “Jimmy D” and works in the Tahoe area.  His dad is well known and has been doing it for the last 44 years!  But Beaux nicknamed “Beaux Vadar” due to his passion for Star Wars and Darth, plans on staying in the business as a career as well. Beaux says it compliments his family life and all his “other” full time jobs, being a father and his second passion- a musician! He plays keyboards and is part of a local group called the Chamberlains where you do see double.  His twin brother plays the drums.
This was Déjà Vu!   Beaux is the identical twin brother of Trends bartender of the month from Jan. ’09 Anthony, who bartends at Tommy’s.  So no, Anthony did not change bars if you walk into Café 225 and think you see him – it’s Beaux!
Beaux has created his own signature drink at Café 225. His specialty drink is yummy! He named it the “Beaux Tie”.  He describes it as his version of a Mai Tai but much better! We have to agree on that. (I think I may have another new favorite –!)
The cocktail “Beaux Tie” is made with a shot and ½ of Malibu Rum and Bacardi Rum, Orange Juice Pineapple Juice, grenadine and a float of Peach Schnapps.  Stop by for Happy Hour at Café 225 and Beaux will mix it up for you! Café 225 is now serving LATE NIGHT Happy Hour from 9 pm to 11pm and this may be on special when you come in! just ask Beaux!
