Congratulatons to Bobbi Cansler
Bobbi has been at the same place, same station, for the last 13 years. The Green Olive is an icon in the area and known for its namesake cocktail … the signature Martini. Using only the best and biggest green olives from right here in the Valley, they are stuffed with pimento and a favorite for martini lovers everywhere. Bobbi’s favorite thing about her job is that she has been there long enough that her “regulars” are now stopping in with their now-grown children. Her Regulars stopped in to visit bringing in their adult kids that were home for the Holidays.
When you visit Bobbi, be sure to ask for her popular cocktail- simply called Bobbi’s Fruity Drink. No recipe shared here folks, it’s definitely a secret. She didn’t even let us watch as she poured! She says it is so good, she even gets the guys to order it but she leaves the fruit garnish off (for them only) so it looks more masculine.
Bobbi loves what she does and hopes one day she can call the place hers when the owner is ready to retire. She wants to continue creating the friendly atmosphere you get when you walk in the door. Team that up with the five pool tables and you get entertainment and friendly fun all rolled-up in one place.
